It is no longer enough just to communicate about active life styles and good health. In an outburst of playfulness and unfailing optimism we have decided to join the Lillebælt half marathon at the 8th of July - we even shook hands on it.
...Apparently 9993 others have been stuck by the same idea of going on a long run because after only three days Lillebælt half marathon announced that the run was fully booked.
But all those who want to run should have the opportunity to do it whether or not they have a ticket to the half marathon. Therefore Lillebælt half marathon and Arena.365.com have established a free nationwide training community, which guides the runners to a good shape, correct distances and a healthy life style.
“Everyone that feels for running and especially those that want to run a long distance are just our target group. Therefore we have established a nationwide training community at the platform Arena365.com. It is free to participate and if you join you will find a lot of tips, advices, guidance and ways to measure the progress.” says Mads Stryhn from Lillebælt half marathon.
The only thing it takes to be part of the community is to log in to www.arena365.com/lillebaelt2010. There the organizers of the Lillebælt half marathon will provide specific advices on food, equipment and injuries and of cause there will be a training program tailored to four different levels of running skills. These will be available on a weekly basis up to the Lillebælt marathon in May.
